Fugly

Well, on the InSIMentator forums (I’ve linked them enough times before) I found a thread called the Fugly game, where you create fugliest Sims that you have ever seen and then you breed them with somebody random, like a Townie. And then you keep breeding them over the generations until you find someone semi-normal.

It sems like fun and I’m going to situate my Fugly family in Pleasantview. So, I’ve also added somew more categories: Breeding, Competitions and Pleasantview.

Deletion

No, not of this blog, even though no one reads it, lmao.

Just of the neighbourhood, Newfangled. newfangled is slowing down my name and now that I have Still River Canyon, I spend all my time in there. So bye byethe Normalities, the Huvetchampagnes, the Marijuanas, and the Thurmans.

But today I downloaded some really cute kids bunkbeds and some cool skintones. So, I’m off to play them. Cya!

New Neighbourhood

Well, yesterday I was browsing the InSIMenator Forums when I saw that people had created threads for all their Sims, so they can tell everyone about them. EVeryone had a lot of toddlers and children, so I had the urge to create a new neighbourhood. This one is called Still River Canyon and features families with a lot of children.

Last night, I created the Nichols family. Elizabeth and Daryl were friends living with each other, but it turned into more. I played themfor at least 5 hours, and when I stopped, they had been married, gone through fires and ghost sightings together, and had an adorable baby boy, Rhys, who has now grown into a toddler. Again, I moved them into a Maxis-made home, because I don’t like creating houses, but now I have had to expand it. I had found a hack on the InTeenimater Forums where my Sims can now give birth to triplets and even quadruplets. A few more nights in the bedroom, and suddenly, Elizabeth gave birth to four bouncing babies; two boys and two girls. So now there is Rhys, Rick, Ryan. Lillian and Lynda. It’s pretty hard trying to control five chidlren, especially with the quads, but I’m managing and so are Elizabeth and Daryl.

I’ll probably have pictures of them tomorrow, because tonight we’re having a party at my house. And I’m off to have a long relazing bath. Cya!

Updates

Today, after I posted my Normality family post, I’ve been updating the site a bit. I’ve added the “Courtney” area with a little introduction and a Joined page, which shows what forums and social networking sites that I have joined. Tomorrow, the plan is to make a Pets page, maybe write a bit of an autobiography, and I might update the “Newfangled” area.

From now on, the updates will get their own posts and they have a category (Surprising named Updates xD) for easy access. And that’s all I’m doing today. It’s time for me to hit the sheets and have a well deserved sleep. Zzzzzz.

Normality Family Pictures

As promised six days ago, here are the pictures of the Normality family. I have also created two more families recently, but haven’t furnished their houses yet. They are: the Huvetchampagne’s who are SimDroids with a metallic skintone, and the Thurmans, a modern family where the parents cut off the three teenagers who live on their own. And just so everyone knows, Candy Normality has been taught to walk, talk and how to use the potty. She has also grown up into a gorgeous child. I have also included a picture of Candy when she was a toddler.

Anyway, without me rambling on and on, here are the pictures:

My Idea

Since I am obsessed with the Sims 2, I have decided to create a blog where I will post updates on my Sims 2 families. Recently my computer had to be rebooted and I lost everything, so I am starting this blog brand new, just like my Sims 2. As well as the three default neighbourhoods, Pleasantview, Strangetown and Veronaville, I have created a neighbourhood of my own, which I called Newfangled. I looked up the word Strange on http://www.thesaurus.com and the word appealed to me for some reason.

I went on Mod The Sims 2 to download custom content, as every Simmer should. I found Helenae’s nice-looking weird skins and some clothes to go along with that. Next on the list was hair for both genders. Soon I had all I needed and booted up the game. In les than 15 minutes, I was in. I created Newfangled and set to work creating a unique family that I call the Normality family. They all have a gorgeous light green skin colour, custom white-blonde hair and beautiful, fashionable clothing. I created a modern, stunning mother, Irina, a strong, good-looking Dad, George, and an adorable little girl toddler, Candy. I used one of the included starter houses in the game and furnished it to the best of my ability.

Candy’s room was all light pink and white, which contrasts together beautifully for a girly, yet stylish nursery. Irina and George’s room was dark wood furniture with light blue and white decorations. I used a nice white carpet and light blue walls in blend it all in together. The bathroom is quite small, with the neccesities of a toilet, sink, mirror and a shower/tub. All top-of-the-line, of course. The living room, which is connected to kitchen/dining area, is a light brown colour with a simple, yet elegant, light cream sofa, a normal-sized TV, a bookcase and some vases.

The kitchen/dining area is a brilliant, startling white with expensive appliances and furniture. The laptop and the desk are included in there, as well as a sparkling white high chair for little Candy. A Smart-Milk bottle maker rests on top of one of the white counters.

Over all, the house is small, but nicely furnished. The family, however, are sophiscated, modern and gorgeous. I’m considering putting Candy on the Alien Conspiracy career track that I downloaded when she becomes a teenager. Her father, George, is climbing up the Business career track ladder, while Irina stays at home cooking and cleaning because she refuses to hire a maid and nan.

There will be more updates about the Normality family and my other Sims tomorrow. Until then, adios!
